A pretty damn addictive place to hang out and search for bargains is at Digitalpoint. When you visit the Digitalpoint forums scroll down to where it says Buy, Sell and Trade to find the real bargains. I have been using sitepoint to find established websites for sale. I bought a few, one of them will earning right away. I spent some time on seo for it and now its income is 5 times the previous level
Best to find sites that get organic traffic and that have just a few backlinks. Using the same principle as flipping houses works well. Buy the ugliest website in the nicest niche and renovate it.
