The easiest ways for website owners to make money from their websites is to use Adsense. There are tons of site owners having a hard time earning money with their sites. On the flip side the web owners who are in the “know” are living it up while making hundreds of dollars each day using Adsense on their sites. The difference is some webmasters know how to properly setup their Adsense ads properly and maximize their revenue.
The most successful site owners all know several valueable tips that can be quite useful to those of us who stuggle day to day making just pennies. If you implement a few of these techniques you too will be able to boost your Adsense earnings in just a short time. It doesn’t take long and you’ll be glad you did.
Follow these tips to immediately see a difference in your Adsense revenue.
First Concentrate on integrating a large rectangle ad which is (336 X 280) right into the content of your site. This means having the content flow around the Adsense block so it seamlessly integrates with the page and blends in. Making your Adsense ad look not like an ad but part of your website is critical to increasing your click-throughs. When visitors are reading your content they’ll often see a link that looks inviting and click on it thinking they are navigating to another page on your site.
You can further integrate your Adsense ad into your site by carefully blending the background to match exactly with your sites background. If your websites background is white with dark blue hyperlinks and black text then you should craft your Adsense to mimic that design. The whole idea is to pattern the color pattern to replicate the same look of your site to blend in perfectly. Visitors clicking on your Adsense thinking they’re links on your site will result in much more money than if the Adsense obviously looks like an Ad.
Use only a large rectangle ad in the content and one at the bottom of the page. The reason to put Adsense at the bottom of your content is to give visitors some Adsense links to navigate away on once they have finished reading the content. Having links at the bottom will give your visitors a reason to click through. Stick with text only Adsense ads as they have been proven in resulting in higher CTR.
You’ll also want to look carefully at which keywords you are targeting on your page. Researching the value of different keywords will give you valuable insight into what keywords you’ll want to include in your content.
Keep in mind that ads are shown because they fit a particular interest. Focus on a specific topic within your pages content so your ad displays will be perfectly targeted to a specific topic. This way the Adsense ads will represent the pages content and will result in better clicks.
These strategies are just some of the ones I’ve found most effective. Use your own due dilligence and above all make sure you test different ads on your own site to find what works best in your situation.
