Social networking sites like Myspace continue to increase in value as their popularity keeps growing. The massive 580 million dollar price tag that popular Web 2.0 site Myspace received in 2006 is nothing compared to its current estimated value, which is in the billions.
Now, popular social networking site Facebook looks like it might be up on the auction block with an asking price of 1 billion dollars. With these kinds of prices and the speed at which they are climbing I’m asking myself. Is it time to start a Myspace type social networking website?
Well, maybe not just yet. For now I’m going to keep using the power of Marketing on Myspace to drive targeted traffic to my websites. With over 50 million people logging on each month you know there’s plenty of visitor traffic to go around.
